From: Effects of Chinese herbal medicine in combination with mitomycin C on gastric cancer cells
Effect of chinese herbal medicine formulas on the cytotoxicity induced by MMC. MKN-74 cells were treated with IC10 concentration of 3 Chinese herbal medicine formulas (BZYQT, BYT and JYJ) for 48 h. Then 0.25 μg/ml MMC was added for another 24 h. Cell survival was quantified by MTT assay. Each value was determinate as the percentage of untreated control group. Values were expressed as mean ± SD from three separate experiments. **P <0.01 compared with untreated control group.
