From: Whole gene expression profile in blood reveals multiple pathways deregulation in R6/2 mouse model
RT-qPCR in blood. RT-qPCRs were performed in pooled blood samples, so statistical test was not applied. Normalized expression levels of selected genes confirmed, in blood, the modulation previously observed in microarray, reported in Tab. 3. Since Fabp1 was measurable in R6/2 but not in WT, this last value was replaced with detection limit of the qPCR machine: the levels in R6/2 resulted in strong up-regulation with respect to WT.
